NodeScout Market Population Intelligence (NSMPI)
Define the market. Verify who is in it.
NodeScout Market Population Intelligence builds a source-linked view of the organizations and facilities that meet your defined criteria. We combine human-led research design with software, AI, and automation to find relevant records, match them to the correct organizations or facilities, verify key facts, and document uncertainty.
Coming soon. Originally developed as NodeScout's internal process for identifying, matching, and verifying organizations and facilities, NSMPI is being prepared as a client service for teams planning market entry, account outreach, partnerships, product expansion, or sales territories.
What the service produces
- A defined set of organizations and facilities that meet agreed inclusion criteria.
- Records matched across names, addresses, identifiers, locations, and ownership structures.
- Source links supporting key facts and inclusion decisions.
- Confidence scores and flags where records conflict or remain uncertain.
- Segments organized for the client's decision, such as geography, ownership, facility type, size, or technology.
- A maintained dataset or application designed for periodic refresh and use in CRM, analytics, outreach, and internal workflows.
Method
Define
Together, we define the target market, inclusion and exclusion rules, which sources may be used, which sources take priority for each type of fact, and what evidence is required to include an organization or treat a fact as verified.
Discover
We search public records, properly licensed commercial data, and client-provided records, as applicable, to identify candidate organizations and facilities and collect the facts needed to evaluate them.
Match
We match records that use different names, addresses, identifiers, locations, or ownership structures to the same organization or facility.
Verify
We check key facts and inclusion decisions against the strongest available source for each fact. Conflicting records are documented rather than silently discarded, and confidence is recorded for individual facts or for the record as a whole.
Deliver
The result is delivered as a source-linked dataset or application structured for the client's specific decision, workflow, and update needs.
The role of AI
AI accelerates the work; human-defined rules and review determine what is accepted. AI helps search, compare, standardize, and review large volumes of data. Human researchers define the market, select the sources, establish the matching and evidence rules, resolve ambiguity, and approve the final result.
Use cases
- Market definition and sizing
- Account-based sales planning
- Territory and channel planning
- Partner and acquisition research
- Market-entry and product-expansion research
- Source-linked datasets and internal market-intelligence applications
Every engagement defines which sources may be used, which sources take priority for each type of fact, and what evidence is required to include an organization or treat a fact as verified. Source links are preserved, conflicting records remain visible, and directly sourced facts are distinguished from client-provided information, record-matching decisions, calculated values, and analytical conclusions.
